In 1890 an eclectic 3 storey building was built up in downtown Budapest by the plans of the noted architect Sándor Sterk. The original part of the building includes 15 flats that will be reconstructed including the historical fassade, its ornaments and structures. Removing some lower sidewings added in later ages to the original building will open up a more capacious space in the inner courtyard for newcoming tenants.

The plan furthermore involves an upward expansion with 2 more penthouse storeys. These floors will add further 8 flats to the renovated residential building. The flats look upon the street with a fairly wide terrace and wide openings lightning up the inner sections of the flats.
ZED studio delivered the architectural design and provided final renderings.
