The location is in the outskirt of one of Budapest’s most prestigious quarter in Buda hills, Budapest. The western side of the building plot looks upon the city with a picturesque view of Buda side’s scenic hilltops. While outlining our first sketches our leading design goal became to take advantage of this very feature, thus the new residential building’s principal front was arranged to face as much the west as all building conditions allowed it.

Another significant aspect of designing was to create an active dialog with the sorrounding vivid natural environment. The building thus was slightly drawn to the eastern side of the plot to create even more spacious private and common gardens for flats facing the spectacular western view. All flats are furthermore opening up with imposing terraces towards the gardens stretching even more space to the inner living areas.
